Walden’s Values and Mission

At Walden, a commitment to social change is more than a discussion point, it's integral to our identity. From our founders onward, this principle has drawn students and faculty who share this value, guiding our actions in every endeavor. As a specialized online teaching institution, we are dedicated to inclusive teaching and learning across all academic programs. We intentionally foster an environment of shared accountability to enhance and advance the equitable health and well-being of communities, systems, and organizations. We recognize the inherent worth, humanity, and dignity of each individual within the learning process. Our institutional philosophy is one of support and guidance; we meet students where they are and accompany them on their academic journeys.
