The TL;DR
Discovered Labs is a specialised B2B agency built for the new era of organic search where buyers don’t just “Google it,” they ask ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google’s AI Overviews for recommendations.
We exist to make sure our clients show up in those answers and get cited and chosen , not just ranked.
We’re a small, remote, high-ownership team that moves fast, documents what we learn, and holds a high bar for quality.
Co-founded by a Stanford rocket scientist, turned AI researcher, and a demand generation marketer with experience scaling SaaS companies from $1m to over $30m ARR.
We’re likely a good fit if…
You believe organic search has fundamentally changed and you’re excited about it You want a front-row seat to a new category being built You’re a curious person, always learning and improving, and you’re comfortable with high tempo environments You have high agency - if you don’t know something you’ll figure it out rather than waiting and you proactively improve processes without being asked You use AI tools daily. You use structured prompts, context files and projects to get high quality outputs You’re comfortable working towards targets and deadlines We’re likely not a good fit if…
You need heavy day-to-day direction to stay unblocked You dislike writing things down and documenting your work (async work requires it) You prefer slow-moving environments
What makes us different
We’re purpose-built for the AI era
We don’t implement the old SEO playbook and call it AEO/GEO.
Rather than rely on a list of best practices or speculation by others, we’ve done our own research then built our own tools, techniques and procedures that has allowed us to give clients a competitive advantage.
This technical edge has quickly enabled us to become the trusted organic growth partner for hypergrowth startups around the world.
See : our CITABLE framework and free tools.
You'll learn faster here than anywhere else
AEO is a new category. There's no established playbook to copy, which means every week we’re running experiments, seeing what works, and building conviction from real data. The learning curve is steep because the field is moving fast, and we're at the front of it. People who join us build skills in AI visibility, LLM optimisation, and content systems that almost nobody else in marketing has yet.
You'll work with tools nobody else has access to
We build our own technology. AI visibility auditing software, vector-based research tools, and a knowledge graph built across 100,000s of clicks per month. You won't be limited to whatever third-party tools the rest of the market is using. You'll work inside proprietary systems that give you (and our clients) a genuine data advantage, and you'll have a say in how those tools evolve.
You'll work with companies people actually talk about
Our clients are well-known B2B SaaS companies. Some have raised tens of millions from top-tier venture firms. Some are doing tens of millions in revenue. These are the kinds of products people discuss on social media every day and use in their own workflows. You'll have direct access to these clients, not filtered through three layers of account management.
You'll have real ownership from day one
We don't micromanage. You'll be given responsibility, expected to make decisions, and trusted to ship daily. It doesn't matter how junior or senior you are. If you see a better way to do something, you can change the process and build the system. People here have an opinion and they're expected to use it.
How we operate day to day
We run on outcomes, not activity
Roles are designed around clear missions, measurable outcomes, and quality bars. You'll know what "good" looks like because we define it upfront. Think client approval rate, publishing accuracy, turnaround time, and documented learnings.
Systems over heroics
A core part of our advantage is treating marketing programs like a product: automate repetitive tasks, standardise workflows, and reserve human expertise for the work that actually needs it.
We’re remote and async by default
We meet weekly but most collaboration happens through written updates and documentation. Tools commonly include Notion, Slack, Google Docs/Sheets, and client CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress/Webflow).
We care about craft and correctness Because our work is used by both humans and AI systems, details matter: factual accuracy, verifiable claims and clean structure. Everyone is held accountable to a high standard.
What we expect from you
This is what doing well typically looks like at Discovered Labs:
Ownership + self-direction: You can take a goal and run with it, without needing constant oversight.
High standards: You care about the small details because they compound into results.
Strong async communication: You keep people unblocked with clear written updates, good documentation, and predictable handoffs.
AI fluency (with judgment): You use tools like ChatGPT/Claude/Perplexity intelligently but you also verify, QA, and don’t ship untrusted output.
Performance mindset: You don’t confuse output with outcomes. You look at what’s working, what isn’t, and changes what’s needed to get the desired results.
Process improvement bias: When something breaks or slows us down, you document it and propose a better way.
What you can expect from us
Autonomy and trust: We hire for judgment and give people room to execute.
A real feedback loop: We track visibility and results, and we share what’s changing (and why).
Meaningful impact: Your work touches real go-to-market outcomes for well-known B2B companies.
Front-row seat to a new category: You'll learn how LLMs actually work, how content influences AI answers, and how to build systems at speed.
