Supplier Development Engineer-Mechanical

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Design, Industrial Design, Project Management, Reliability and Product Operations to deliver Google Hardware products to market.

Use statistical process control and yield studies to validate process capability (Cp/Cpk), establish reasonable specifications, and drive process improvements in partnership with Tooling and Manufacturing Process Engineers.

Work with Reliability Engineering to set-up On Going Reliability test plans for manufacturing processes that are critical to function. Set-up quality control plans; PMP, SIP, SOP. Establish OQC/IQC processes, align on MSOP, ensure correlation between sites and track down root cause of measurement discrepancies in IQC, to ensure the smooth flow of parts into FATP.
