Remote Healthcare Verification Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Remote Healthcare Verification Specialist to support our healthcare operations by coordinating patient appointments, providing patient and caregiver support, and assisting with insurance-related processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with insurance eligibility verification, billing, prior authorizations, and DME (Durable Medical Equipment) , as well as a background in Urgent Care, a medical office, DME, or a similar healthcare environment. In this role, you will communicate with patients, caregivers, insurance providers, and healthcare teams through phone and email, coordinate appointments, verify insurance benefits and coverage, and assist with authorizations and DME-related processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service. This position requires the ability to work independently, follow established processes, quickly learn new systems, and work U.S. Eastern Time (New York) business hours.
