Sr. Project Manager

Timmons Group is hiring a Senior Project Manager to join our Geospatial Solutions Development division , based in Richmond, VA or working remotely . This position leads delivery for a long-standing state government client, a multi-year program with new development, enhancements, maintenance and support, and modernization all running at once. The position may also lead or support engagements for our other state, local, federal, and non-government clients.

The Senior Project Manager is the primary client contact, advising on how to sequence and fund competing priorities, planning across overlapping timelines, and working with cross-functional teams to execute. The role also owns the financial side, including budgets, change orders, and monthly invoicing, and calls for enough technical depth to plan around architecture, integrations, data migrations, and releases. We welcome candidates from consulting firms and from state or local government who have managed technology projects and vendor partnerships.
