Flexigrant is cloud-based grant management software built for organisations that award funding, from community foundations to central government. It replaces spreadsheets and email with a single system covering applications, eligibility, assessment, awards, monitoring, and reporting, with a full audit trail throughout.
The platform replaces disconnected spreadsheets, emails and paper-based processes with one secure, configurable system, giving grant managers a complete and up-to-date view of every programme, application and award. Flexigrant also creates a clear audit trail of actions and decisions, helping organisations maintain transparency and meet their governance and reporting responsibilities.
Trusted by more than 100 organisations worldwide, the platform supports grant programmes of varying sizes and complexity. In the last 12 months alone, more than £6.4 billion in new grant funding was awarded through Flexigrant, demonstrating the important role its technology plays in helping funding reach research, communities and worthwhile causes efficiently.
The Role
As QA Analyst, you will own the quality of what we ship. You will plan and run testing across Flexigrant, from exploratory, functional and regression testing through to building automated tests, working closely with our developers and Product Manager to catch issues early.
This is a hands-on role for a fast learner who enjoys getting to know a complex product in depth. Much of that product knowledge is built on the job, alongside the development team, so a real appetite to learn is essential.
It is also an AI-native role. You will use AI tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot every day to plan, create and maintain tests, grow our automation and help build quality in as Flexigrant modernises. AI fluency will be explored at interview, so be ready to show how you work.
We are remote-first: you will work with colleagues across locations and are trusted to work wherever you are based.
Key Responsibilities
You will plan, design and run manual testing across Flexigrant, including exploratory, functional, regression and edge-case testing.
You will build and maintain automated tests and help grow our automated test coverage.
You will work with developers and the Product Manager to refine requirements and turn them into clear, testable acceptance criteria.
You will reproduce and document issues clearly, giving developers concise, actionable feedback so they can resolve them quickly.
You will carry out API testing and use SQL to validate data and investigate issues.
You will support releases each sprint, balancing planned testing with reactive support, and take part in refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives.
You will use AI tooling as a core part of your daily workflow to improve testing processes and speed up delivery.
You will share product knowledge across the team and help improve our QA processes and practices.
